Re: MR. OUPA FRANK MATLALA

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF BEREAVEMENT ON THE PASSING OF, MR. OUPA FRANK MATLALA,
LATE TREASURER OF SOUTH AFRICAN FIRE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (SAFDA)

Dear Stakeholders

SAFDA is saddened at the passing of Mr. Oupa Frank Matlala, the current treasurer of
the South African Fire Development Association (SAFDA).

Matlala was an established Businessman, an excellent Occupational Health and Safety professional,
loving husband and devoted father, but most importantly an amazing brother in Christ.

The SAFDA family has lost more than a treasurer, but a brother and a friend.

On behalf of SAFDA we would like to express our sincere condolences to the Matlala family, friends
and associates. May you find comfort in the Lord God Almighty.

Contact details of the family representatives and funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course.

May our brother’s soul rest in everlasting peace.

With deepest sympathy,

Douglas Setuke

Chairperson SAFDA
